The AWS-4814 is designed specifically for Lead and Chlorine Reduction in classroom sinks. It fits under the sink and has a two-part filtration setup.
- The first section is the 4-N-1 sediment cartridge which filters out any sediment, dirt, dust, sand, or other particles greater than 1-micron in size.
- The second section uses our patented Aquaspace technology and has been developed specifically to reduce Lead and Chlorine.
The AWS-4814 will remove >99% of chlorine and reduce lead to 1 part per billion. The AWS models are currently in use in the DC public schools system, and were specifically designed to address their lead problem and meet their strict demands for water filtration.
|Size||15.5”H x 7.5”W x 14.5”D (housing) 3/8 ” FPT inlet/outlet|
|Capacity||6,000 Gallons (22,712 Liters) Lead Reduction
15,000 Gallons (56,780 Liters) Chlorine Removal
|Flow Rate||2.4 GPM (9.08 L/m) Maximum|
|Max Pressure||75 PSI|
The Aquaspace® Twin Lead Reduction unit will effectively remove Chlorine, Cysts, and Lead. In addition, Aquaspace removes unpleasant colors, tastes, odors, sediment and turbidity. It does not remove beneficial dissolved minerals that are essential for good health.
The 4-N-1 is a 1-micron sediment cartridge that has four stages of filtration. The 4-N-1 is multi sectional and uses gradual filtration meaning it can last longer than a single section cartridge.
Replace Lead filter cartridge (AR-4814) when rated capacity (6,000 gallons lead reduction/15,000 gallons chlorine removal) is reached, or EVERY 12 MONTHS, whichever occurs first. REORDER: Lead Filter AR- 4814.
Replace sediment cartridge (APR 4-N-1) when flow becomes too slow. Install in compliance with state and local laws and regulations. REORDER: Sediment Filter APR- 4-N-1.
|Guarantee||One full year for material and workmanship. Due to varying water quality, the filter section is not covered under warranty. Maintenance free.|
