It was created to address the Lead problem in DC public schools. It is the only water filter that was able to meet DC’s strict Lead Reduction Limit. The AWS-2414 is capable of reducing Lead to 1 part per billion, well below the EPA’s limit of 15 ppb.

NSF Certified Product. 3/8" Quick Connect Tube fittings included into filter head.

Efficiency	The Aquaspace® 1 Micron Reduction Block has been tested and certified by NSF International for the reduction of Chlorine, Cysts, and Lead. In addition, Aquaspace removes unpleasant colors, tastes, odors, sediment and turbidity. It does not remove beneficial dissolved minerals that are essential for good health.
