Prior to Aquaspace® introducing this cartridge, the only 1 micron rated GAC cartridges available, were the GAC Block type cartridges. Block GAC cartridges typically only have a 30 cubic inches rating. The Aquaspace® Replacement Cartridge (AR-100) is 1 micron AND has a rating of 55 cubic inches -- almost TWICE THE CAPACITY as block GAC cartridges!

Aquaspace 9 ¾” Replacement Cartridge (AR-100) is for Counter Top and Under The Sink (all AQ-100, and AQ-400) series.

Efficiency	The Aquaspace® Compound has been tested and certified by the National Testing Laboratories for the reduction of organic, industrial, and agricultural pollutants including chlorine, chloroform, herbicides, pesticides, 55 VOC's, and heavy metals such as lead. In addition, Aquaspace removes unpleasant colors, tastes, odors, sediment and turbidity. It does not remove beneficial dissolved minerals that are essential for good health.
