It is a water treatment compound developed using NASA Filtration Technology and is charge modified to increase the potential of the carbon. Aquaspace Water Systems will also retain beneficial dissolved minerals such as Calcium, Magnesium, and Potassium that may be found in water and are essential for good health.

Efficiency	The Aquaspace® Compound has been tested and certified by the National Testing Laboratories for the reduction of organic, industrial, and agricultural pollutants including chlorine, chloroform, herbicides, pesticides, and heavy metals such as lead. In addition, Aquaspace removes unpleasant colors, tastes, odors, sediment and turbidity. It does not remove beneficial dissolved minerals that are essential for good health.
Emergency Filter	In case of a disruption in your municipal water supply due to an earthquake, hurricane, etc. Your Carafe® Aquaspace Water filter can be used as an emergency purifying filter by first pre-treating the suspect water with household bleach, then pouring the water thru the filter. The steps are as follows: place the water in a container and add approximately 1 cap full of chlorine bleach per gallon of water, allow water to stand for a MINIMUM of 15 minutes, then pour through the Carafe® Water Filter to remove the excess chlorine. Carafe Water Filter cannot be used with salt or brackish water.
Filter Section	Disposable; Order Carafe Aquaspace Portable Replacement Filter Model: CR-100, should be replaced every 500 gallons or 12 months, whichever occurs first.
Guarantee	One full year for material and workmanship. Due to varying water quality, the filter section is not covered under warranty. Maintenance free.
